Botanic Gardens @ Tanglin

30th April 2011

Wow it's been almost over a decade or even 2 decades since i last been to Botanic Gardens! So we decided to bring Amelia over to catch some fresh air. We didn't bring Amelia out often while she has her hand cased, she had her cast removed recently so here we are.

The Botanic Gardens has changed a lot over the times.

Finally Amelia could enjoy her tricycle as there is a lot of space for her to cycle around. Usually she cycle around in the house only.

There are a lot of family enjoying their time in the Botanic Gardens, we were resting at the open area and there was this father playing ball with his daughter and Amelia joined them playing.

So lucky while we were there, there was a band performance at the pavilion so we stayed to enjoy the performance.

Lazying around the garden enjoying the fresh air and music. What a relaxing moment from the daily buzz.

Mini waterfall at the entrance.

I was posing for the camera and Amelia followed what i did...

Amelia recently likes to use camera and go around snapping photos, so we give her a camera all by herself to develop her photographic skill.

Amelia loves animals, she is not afraid of approaching them. She will say hello to the dogs and give them a pat then wave goodbye.

So happy posing for a photo Mango boutique, Takashimaya.

Jurong Bird Park with Clayton and Family

Went to Jurong Bird Park on a sunny Sunday with Clayton and Family. This is Amelia's first time going to the Bird Park.

Gearing up for the day!

My cutie Amelia.

We get to feed the birds in the park, Amelia was afraid initially as the birds are real close. Some of the birds will even give you a peck if we are too close to them.

Amelia found her favorite animal statue. It;s the same one in Jurong Point Shopping Center, and every time we pass by it she will give it a hug.

Clayton and Amelia resting in the dine in.

Bananas anyone?

Posing for another photo, recently if Amelia likes any scene she will request us to take a photo of her and she will pose with a peace sign at her cheek!

Bird show... They are flying very low above our heads.

Amelia's Freak Accident

On 29th March, after school mummy notice Amelia's finger was swollen as she refuse to wash her hands. She quickly went down to her class to asked the teachers what happen but they left. We were left with no choice but to wait till the next day. The teacher told us that a boy has step on her finger during class. We decided to bring her for a check and found out that her Left middle finger was fractured with slight displacement!

Photo taken after A&E visit.

Awaiting for Day surgery to be carried out.

Amelia's baseball hand! Doc did a surgery to straighten her finger and inserted a K-wire with its end sticking out at the side of her finger! Bandaged it up and this is what it looks like.

My poor little angel.

Although she hurt her fingers she is not out of action! Amelia still behave as if nothing happen.

Mummy bought a Qipao while they are in China and we decided to let Amelia wear it during the coming Chinese New Year. Here are some of the photos we took of her in a Chinese Qipao.
