Brunei

07 Sept 09

Thanks Uncle Boo and Limin for waking up so early to send us off...

Second time taking aeroplane yippee!!!! This time i got Coco to accompany!!!

With mummy...

We landed in Brunei after a two hrs flight. Amelia did sleep for half an hour in the plane. Luckily this time round she didn't cry throughout the whole jounery. First day we stay in the camp's chalet. Its like those NTUC chalets in east coast back in the 90's... Best part its full of lizards!!!!! OMG!!!!!

Luckily second day we managed to find a house to shift in. Its a semi-detach house with 4 bedrooms, 3 toilets, personnel garage and a backyard. Amelia seems to be comfortable staying in this house. Life is boring here... our only shopping area is HuaHo Supermarket.... its like Giant hypermart. We seems to go there everyday and walk walk. Currently there is no Internet and Cable TV, as it take ages for people to get things done over in this country. No choice but to wait wait wait...

Amelia's two upper front teeth is making its way out... We can clearly see them, looks so cute... Nowadays she knows to grab a towel to play peekee poo with us, sometimes we will ignore her but she still continue to cover her head with the towel...Never gets tired...

We are in a internet cafe having breakfast and took this chance to use the internet to update her blog.

Poor baby - Amelia

Thursday 3rd Sept 09,

Sunny morning, at 0700H Amelia was awake and disturbing Mummy by climbing to her body, pulling her hair, lying on her stomach. Mummy had no choice but to wake up and comfort her back to sleep. She slept for another 2hrs after which we bathed her and feed her. She refuse to drink her milk maybe due to her diarrhoea and vommiting. Mummy tried to comfort her to have her afternoon nap. But then again she refuse to sleep and i came in to carry her out to play.

I brought her to Jayven's room, he was sleeping and i placed Amelia beside him and asked her to wake ShuShu up. The moment i placed Amelia down she tried to get up on her legs and lost her balance and fell down, head landing... It happen so fast that i had no time to react... She began screaming and i quickly carried her up. At this moment Mummy was alarmed by her screaming and carried her away from my arms. I notice that there was a huge bruise lump at Amelia's forehead!!!! I was shock to see such a huge lump! I felt terrible and guilty for not handling her well. We quickily rush to the clinic to see Doctor Heng. Doctor Heng advise us to monitor her behaviour, any signs of dizziness, of felt very tired or having fits must quickily sent Amelia to A&E. Regarding Amelia's diarrhoea and vomitting, Doctor Heng is saying that maybe due to poor hygiene, or our milk bottle's were not sterilzed properly or her hands were dirty.

Friday 4th Sept 09

Rainy morning. Thank god Amelia didn't develope any of the symptons Doctor Heng mention. Just that she still refuse to drink her milk and the medicine for her diarrhoea. This morning her stool was not as watery as before and she didn't vomit anymore. Just that she refuse to drink milk formula, soy formula... Only drinks water alone, we are afraid that she could not have enough energy to fight her illness. The lump on her forehead has reduced, but the bruises have not disperse. We would pin Amelia down to rub her forehead and she would cry and scream... We did that twice a day.

Uncle Yeo and Auntie Siling came to visit baby Amelia to see her condition. They recommended us to feed her with porridge water as that has more nutrition that just plain water. They also suggested to use a hard boiled egg to disperse her bruises. Thanks for the suggestion Yeo & Siling.

Really hope Amelia would recover from her illness and her forehead bruises be gone as soon as possible... Sorry baby Amelia, Daddy didn't do a good job in taking care of you...

Daddy and Mummy brought me to Toys'R'Us to search for my rocking horse... Unfortunately they just sold out the model. But there is another model by Vtech which cost $150 little too expensive for a rocker...

Me riding on Thomas and Friends Train... Actually there is a signage stating no climbing of the display.... Ops.... mayb signage too small.... heehee....

DimSum Wif NaiNai & ShuShu

Having Dim Sum with Jayven ShuShu & NaiNai at Red Star Restaurant.

Photo of NaiNai with me...

Just take a look at how difficult it is for us to feed her nowadays. She will twist and turn her body around. If we insist in feeding her she will shout and sometimes try to bit you, just like what the photos shows. When it comes to feeding its getting more and more tiring....

Here's a photo of naughty Amelia making her way up from her baby seat. This is what happen if we don't buckle her up.

Cheeky look of successfully climbing up and standing on the baby seat.

Poor baby - Amelia

Last Sunday, we moved back to Mummy's place to stay before we fly off to Brunei. It was a rainy day, luckily with the help of Yeo we managed to moved everything back. Amelia is not familar with grannie's place as we didnt bring her there since she came back from China, but as usual it took just a while for her to warm up and she is off crawling into every room in the house.

These few days, Amelia has learn to throw her temper by shouting loudly, if she don't want you to carry her she will struggle to get down and if you resist her struggle she will shout loudly.

Yesterday, 2nd day at Grannie's, raining heavily in the afternoon, after Amelia's afternoon nap mummy feed her with milk, after drinking Amelia vomitted a little milk out. In the evening while i was feeding her, she refuse to drink her milk and after struggling she vomitted a pool of milk out. We were a little worried but Amelia is still as active as ever so we thought she just refuse to drink her milk. After a while, mummy tried feeding her again and she vomitted again when mummy place the milk bottle in her mouth. We tried for 3 times and she vomitted for all the 3 times. We thought she maybe teething that's why refuse to drink milk, also maybe she knock her head last night. I began to call the KK hospital hotline asking the nurse whether is Amelia alright as she has never behave like this before. The nurse told me to feed her with small amount of milk but more feeds and also monitor her urine amount, if it reduced or change of color then got to see a doctor.

Luckily this morning Amelia seems to be fine as of now, but we didn't feed her the usual amount of milk... We still gotta monitor her status... When Uncle Jayven came back this morning from his flight, Amelia was so happy laughing at him, playful as usual. So hopefully she can recover soon.
